Keyan and I took Hallie and went on a hike on Columbus Day up the back side of Pike's Peak. We felt like a childless couple with a dog....and so we took pictures of our dog. Hallie had soooo much fun running all around that mountain. She literally ran the trail about 5 times running up ahead of us, running back, running ahead of us, running back....you get the idea. She was one tired dog at the end of the hike.
We didn't make it all the way to the top because it was FREEZING once we got out of the trees. I really felt like I was climbing Mt. Everest...okay, not even the same, but I know that I have NO desire to ever climb Mt. Everest.
