Date in New York City

Keyan decided he wanted to take me to New York City so we could go see a a lot of shows....so we did.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of us together!  Oh well, we went to a New York Philharmonic Concert of Handel's Messiah, The Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King, and to the Metropolitan Opera to see Placido Domingo in "Nabucco."  Loved it.

Thanksgiving Break at Snow Mountain Ranch

We spent a few days up at the YMCA's Snow Mountain Ranch before Thanksgiving.  It's nice to get away where there are no t.v.'s and no wifi.  There wasn't a lot of snow so we couldn't do any tubing or cross country skiing.  Oh well.

Elyse the Swimmer

Elyse joined a swim team at the beginning of the school year and went to practices 3 times a week.  She is such a good little swimmer.  She participated in a couple of swim meets.  Those are all day affairs if you swim in lots of different events.  We made sure she only swam in the events that were in the morning on Saturdays.  She did a great job swimming and I think she could be really good if she kept it up.  Unfortunately, after about January she was ready to be done.  She lost the fire.
