We got a permit to go cut down a real tree in the National Forest. We enjoyed hiking around, trying to find just the right tree. We found a nice little clump of blue spruces that turned out to have a nice little tree for us. The weather was beautiful......warm and no snow. Made the excursion a lot more pleasant!
Getting the tree up the hill was a bit taxing....luckily it wasn't that heavy, and luckily mom was there to relieve Ben of his job!
