Here is the newest member of our family, Hallie. It didn't take us long to start looking for a new dog. We knew Bubba would want us to find another dog that needed a home, so we went and looked at some rescue dogs. There were a lot of good dogs there, but Hallie seemed liked a mellow dog that would be a great running partner. So, we brought her home on Saturday. And then the realization that she is still a puppy (6 months old) and not completely housebroken set in. So, it has been like being a new parent all over again. Good thing she is so cute..........She has lots to learn, and I guess we are going to have to be the ones to teach her. Bubba was so easy........well, he did have some behaviors that we didn't like but we just learned to adapt to them. I guess it will be the same with Hallie, although she is young enough that we can mold her into a good dog. She is a natural runner, though. She just instinctively knows to stay right with me and doesn't pull. I love that. We will have some good runs together.
