We bit the bullet and took the kids up to Loveland to take some ski lessons. They all did pretty well.....the older three we could take with us now on the bigger part of the mountain. Elyse still needs some work. After picking her up and having her scream and cry most of the way home (except for when she fell asleep), we decided it would be best not to try and teach her ourselves. She did so well for the ski instructor.....she probably held all her anxiety inside all day and then let it out on us! She was exhausted, though, and slept a lot of the way home and then went right to bed when we got home at 6:30. Didn't hear from her until morning. It was a good day, though. The kids all thought it was so much fun....it has to be in order to put yourself out in cold weather with snow and wind nipping at your nose!
