Mara's last concert in 8th grade band at Ruckel Middle School. She was excited to play in this concert because for more than a year, she had been bugging Mr. Steadman that the band needed to play the music from "How to Train Your Dragon." Finally, he consented, and the band got to play that song for this concert.
Mara received an award for passing certain criteria during the school year.
Mara and her good friend Cari Sands have had a 3 year long competition to see who could accumulate the most chair points. Fortunately, it was a friendly competition and they remained friends through it all! Mara ended up getting 1st place........way to go!
