Sam is a fan of baseball.....it is the only thing I can seem to use to get him to obey at times!
This is a classic Sam batting stance....not sure where he got it from, but it's pretty effective, for now. His coaches say he's going to have to change it so that he doesn't have to swing the bat so far in order to hit the ball. Sam had a great hit at this game, though and during this play the other team had some bad catches and throws, so Sam took advantage of every single one! Before we knew it, Sam was barreling towards home and made it in! Was it a true home run? Well, I don't know....but we called it that anyway and Sam got to go out to Dairy Queen for a treat. Later that night and the next morning, Sam was asking me if he would get to go out for another treat if he got another home run. And you know what? He did the same thing in the game the very next day! So, maybe baseball is not the only thing that motivates him - maybe Dairy Queen works, too!
