Prom drama this year. Mara was all set to go to PROM with Johnny Ronco, pictured below. Unfortunately, a major snowstorm came that day and snowed so much that the school postponed PROM until the following Tuesday night. Unfortunately, Mara already had plane tickets to go to Washington on Monday to check out Univ. of Washington. So, she didn't get to go to PROM. It was a sad day. Fortunately, there is Mormon Prom, so Johnny took her to that a few weeks later. Not the same.....but maybe better (says her mother).
