Sam got to go visit Old Bent's Fort down by Alamosa, CO. It was a fun fieldtrip, taking a step back in time. And Sam came up with the answer to why there was a big water storage tank inside the fort.....he said so that the people in the fort didn't have to go outside the safety of the walls to get water. He was right! What a good thinker he is.
