The marching band is doing a show this year entitled "Samurai: The Way of the Warrior." It is pretty ironic that they would be doing this show the year Asuka comes from Japan! It was fun to be able to finally see them march after all the practices they have had to go to. They got 4th place in the competition yesterday, which is really good for Pine Creek. They were all excited.

| Mara had a flute solo to set the mood....she did a great job. |
 |
| Asuka is in the middle, the marching baritone covering her face! It was easy to find her after awhile because she is one of the shortest ones. |

| A part of the show where everyone was doing warrior movements....it was a nice touch to their show. |

I am pretty impressed that these guys can move and walk, sometimes very quickly, while they are playing their instruments. I could never do that with the piano!:)
