Mara spent Valentine's Day and the weekend at Adam's State in Alamosa, CO to participate in the honor band. They had chair placement auditions when they got there, and Mara was thrilled to make 1st chair as a freshman! Keyan and I went to the concert on Saturday, which was very enjoyable. It's always nice to hear some new music and Mara enjoyed playing at a higher level than her high school band.
