A ride in the sky!

Keyan has a great ability to make connections with people and to keep up with them.  One of the doctors that he trained under in Biloxi happens to have a brother that lives near us.......and that brother happens to have some planes and boats.  So, Keyan got in contact with the brother and we got an invite up to fly. Mara was the first brave one to go up.

The smile tells it all....this was better than Space Mountain, any day!

They both got a turn at flying the plane.........the pilot let them "steer" in the sky.  Now they both think they can drive anything with a steering wheel and they don't need to be 16 to do it!

Sam and Elyse weren't able to go up this time......they have to wait for the next time we go visit.  They were both good sports about it and enjoyed sitting in the plane and talking on the headset to each other.
