Mara's Honor choir concert

Mara was selected to be in the 5th grade honor choir. There were students from 5 elementary schools and I thought they did a great job. Later in the concert, choirs from the two local middle schools, the high school, and the college sang and then they all sang together at the end. It was very impressive. A great experience for Mara....I actually caught her smiling while performing.........something I never see her do while playing the violin! Is there a future for her in choir? I hope so......but next year she had to choose between band and choir and she chose band. I think in 7th grade she can choose to do both. That would be good.............
