We had a good time with the Mathews, going snowshoeing and sledding. Amazing no one got injured sledding, I think it's more dangerous than downhill skiing. I liked snowshoeing because Mara came with us and enjoyed it. Not all family activities have to revolve around downhill skiing, which she hates and refuses to do.
We took a couple of days at the end of break to go skiing at Copper Mountain. Looking back on it, it was fun. The miserable part is the car ride, the tantrums from Elyse in the car because she can't find something, the long walk to the lifts, Elyse refusing to come down a ski run.....one hour later we're finally on our way again. Those things are painful.....but the actual skiing is fun. Ben and Sam are good troopers.....they seldom give us a hard time.
