We couldn't work it into our schedule to go up into the National Forest to cut a tree, so instead we asked a friend if we could go to his property in Black Forest to cut a tree. Now, the trees in Black Forest are not very good Christmas Trees, but we figured it would be fine and we'd be grateful to actually have a green tree from the Forest since we've cut down all of our trees on our property!
We did find one....I think it's still pretty with the lights on it...no matter what the kids say!
