Ben is running cross country!

I was a bit surprised when Ben came home from school and said he wanted to run cross-country.

But why not?  There is absolutely nothing wrong with staying after school and running for an hour....it would be good for him.

Yesterday he had his first meet....he was nervous.

 

 

We were excited to see Ben still running as he came down the last hill.

 

And he finishes......

Keyan (who used to run cross-country) told Ben that every other race he runs is a race against the clock....just trying to beat his old time.
